Reviews
I have been going to Watford Central Library for years and have often found the level of service to be good, however I have found that a few members of staff have sadly failed to extend a decent level of courtesy. On one visit to the library I needed assistance with something and went to the enquiries desk at the back of the library on the ground floor to speak to a member of staff however the lady who was at the desk proceeded to ignore me. During my visit today I found one particular member of staff rude again while asking for assistance with something. During the same visit while browsing some books I noticed her walking around the ground floor of the library repeatedly clicking her fingers loudly. A while back on another visit a member of staff at reception was unfriendly, demanding and dictatorial. These comments are to provide feedback and not to negate the fact that there are staff at the library who are helpful and courteous.
Just joined. Staff very helpful and welcoming.
Nice cup of tea too
Went to Watford central library for a course that was being held in the hall which is upstairs in the library,
The course is run by New Leaf College,
So much more than just a library and the staff are always pleased to assist
nice place, good to read something, also its a few min walk to the shopping centre and the train station.
Great collection of books. Friendly helpful staff. Easy electronic borrowing and return process. Can park in the near by public car park .0 80£/hour
Great library. Helpful, friendly staff. BUT please note they are having some problems with bikes being stolen out the front. Mine was stolen just now on 28th August 2022. Make sure you keep an eye on your bikes outside if you are riding there
Good small library, nice space to be in. Sometimes tricky to find books in general fiction due to layout of shelves. Also would be nice if there were spaces to sit and read - currently these are only in the Children's & YA areas.
